Hollywood City Commission is voting for the FINAL TIME on an ordinance that makes fees skyrocket for owners of vacation rental homes, and they’re about to confirm that vote in a third hearing. If it passes, registering a vacation home rental will cost $500, and renewing that license would be $350. On top of that, new inspections on properties larger than 1,500 square feet will be charged another $225.

Both of these fees are being more than DOUBLED, which means government red tape, regulations, and other fees!

Current rental requirements and fees are ALREADY a costly burden. This new fee structure attacks homeowners for simply renting their homes to pay the bills. These new fees may open the floodgates and require residents to register each of their rental properties and pay hefty fees for ALL of them! One commissioner stated during a public hearing that he wouldn't mind requiring inspections for ALL rental properties! Homeowners will have to take the hit or pass on the burden to consumers.

We need to come together and do our part to protect homeowners, homeownership, and the rental and housing market in Hollywood and beyond!

FINAL CHANCE TO STOP OUTRAGEOUS FEE HIKES!
